After disassembling the Rudder, I spent last week cleaning the pieces with special aluminum cleaner and then treating each piece with Alodine...which roughens the surface slightly prior to applying Deft 2 part primer. Here is my painting shed. Any resemblance to the trailer at the begining of the blog which I hauled the tail kit home in is purely coincidental. (Note, the snow is melting...and I don't need all those heaters to keep warm in the shop.)
